Live in days, not a quarter.
There is no platform for you to learn, no software for your firm to install, and nothing to rip out of your phone system. We configure the agent, you review how she sounds, you point your line at her.
Intake workshop, one call
Forty minutes. We map your matter types, the questions your reception already asks for each one, who it routes to, what you refuse, and what counts as urgent enough to interrupt someone.
Build, two to four days
We configure the agent against that map and send you recordings of her handling your real scenarios, including the awkward ones.
Review, as long as you need
You mark up wording, tone and routing. Most firms take two or three passes. This is the step that decides whether she sounds like your firm, so we do not rush it.
Connect the line
Divert on no answer, on busy, after hours, or on every call. Your number does not change and your existing system stays as it is.
First week, watched closely
We read every transcript in week one alongside you. Anything she handles badly is corrected in the script within a day or two, not at a quarterly review.
Ongoing
Transcripts and summaries arrive as calls finish. Script changes are included, not billed as change requests.
Four things, and none of them take long.
- Your matter types, and which ones you will not take
- The questions reception asks now, even if they only exist in someone’s head
- Calendar access for the people who take intakes
- A decision on when calls divert to her
If your intake questions are not written down anywhere, that is normal. The workshop is usually the first time a firm has written them down at all, and most partners find that useful on its own.
What you do not need
- New phone hardware or a new number
- To change practice management software
- An IT person, on staff or contracted
- Training for your team
- A long contract to find out whether it works
Where she still needs a person.
An agent that is oversold gets switched off in week two, so here is what she does not do well.
- Heavy accents and poor lines. Speech recognition is good and not perfect. She asks people to repeat rather than guessing, but a bad mobile connection is still a bad mobile connection.
- Rambling, non-linear callers. A caller who tells the story out of order over four minutes will get through it, but a human would get there faster.
- Anything needing judgement. If the right answer is "that depends", she routes rather than attempts it. By design, but it means some calls still need your people.
- Existing matters with history. She can transfer a current client to their lawyer. She is not a substitute for someone who knows the file.
Hear her take a call from your own firm.
Send us your firm name and what you want handled. We configure an agent on your matter types and call you back from it, so you are judging the real thing rather than a recording we chose.
